"Victorian Gothic" with Molly Kinney

Hair/Makeup/Photography: By Ava Adore

Model: Molly Kinney

Location: River Falls, Wisconsin

This was a winter shoot that I absolutely adored the results! I was in awe! As usual, I did the hair, makeup, and photography. This result turned so successful for this girl transform into a gorgeous Victorian goth!

Molly looks goth all the time, even with work everyday and what she does in her life. She does wear minimalistic makeup, so this was sure a change for her "everyday look." She has that natural dark beauty with her long black hair. It was very easy to accentuate her darker features with makeup. And it was fun teasing the crap out of her hair too! Molly and I are good friends and the few I know from Minnesota that I get along with and has a similar style to me.

She brought a beautiful quality wardrobe and accessories, oh how I love! Hoop skirt, steel bone corset (jealous!), victorian long sleeve that frames her face wonderfully, and little cute jewelry! She brought many different items but together we collaborated and put together this outfit. I wish she looked like this all the time! But, it's hard work and dedication to look this fancy everyday ;)

The makeup was a cut-crease with almost Elvira styled eyes with the points in the corner of the eye with white. Oh how I love that look! And the hair was teased, hair sprayed, and slightly curled with a straightener to add movement and flow.

Products Used: Kat Von D's Monarch Palette, for eyes in Deadhead, Shadow Box, and Vanish. With a highlight of Telepathy (my absolute favorite shade! I use in almost every look!)

I used Shadow Box and a mix of Deadhead for the eyebrows as well. Which I just found out Sephora doesn't carry this anymore! My favorite :( (Link to other KVD Products)

To the right...we also used Kat Von D's Everlasting Lipstick that is matte, stays on all day, and in my opinion *whispers* the best liquid lipstick!

Then, I used Manic Panic's Dreamtone White Foundation
mixed with Cover FX Foundation in N10 (the palest color).

Anyways! I am posting this very very late due to forgetting my blog--but I am catching up now. When it was Winter--- this was by far a cold one! But we had frequent car warming up trips. This shoot was successful in time and location. I knew where I wanted to take her right away and already planned the shots in my head due to walking this route every day at the time.

Here are the results with my collaboration with Molly:
